The Rolex Sky-Dweller is the ultimate watch for global travelers. It is one of the most complicated models in the Rolex collection, masterfully combining two major complications controlled through a revolutionary interface.

Dual Time Zone:

Local Time: Displayed via the traditional central hour, minute, and seconds hands.

Reference Time (Home Time): Indicated by an off-center rotating 24-hour disc. A fixed red triangle points to the reference time, clearly distinguishing between daytime and nighttime hours in the home location.

“Saros” Annual Calendar:

It is an intelligent calendar that automatically differentiates between months with 30 and 31 days.

It requires adjustment only once per year, on March 1st (to compensate for February’s 28 or 29 days).

The months are discreetly indicated through 12 small apertures positioned around the perimeter of the dial next to each hour marker (e.g., 1 for January, 2 for February).

“Ring Command” Bezel:

This is the watch’s ingenious feature. It is not a standard bezel.

By rotating the fluted bezel (which has 3 positions), the user selects which function to adjust (Date, Local Time, or Reference Time). All adjustments are then made simply by turning the crown.
