The year 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of the Hublot Big Bang line, one of the most iconic and disruptive designs in modern Swiss watchmaking. First launched in 2005, the Big Bang redefined Hublot’s “Art of Fusion” by boldly combining materials such as ceramic, titanium, rubber, and gold.
To celebrate this milestone, Hublot unveiled the Big Bang 20th Anniversary collection during Watches and Wonders 2025. This collection not only looks to the past but also reaffirms the watch line’s position in the future.
Key Features of the Collection:
Five Limited Editions: The anniversary collection includes five special models, each representing an aspect of the “Art of Fusion” philosophy and the history of the Big Bang:
Big Bang 20th Anniversary Titanium Ceramic (Limited edition of 500 pieces)
Big Bang 20th Anniversary King Gold Ceramic (Limited edition of 250 pieces)
Big Bang 20th Anniversary All Black (Limited edition of 500 pieces)
Big Bang 20th Anniversary Red Magic (Limited edition of 100 pieces)
Big Bang 20th Anniversary Magic Gold (Limited edition of 100 pieces)
Updated Design: These models feature a redesigned 43 mm case, blending distinctive elements of the 2005 original (such as the multi-layer “sandwich” case construction and H-shaped screws) with the modern lines of the Unico series.
In-House Movement: All five models are equipped with the HUB1280 Unico calibre, a self-winding flyback chronograph manufacture movement offering a 72-hour power reserve.
Commemorative Details: A special highlight is the movement’s rotor (oscillating weight), which is skeletonized and engraved with the inscription “20 Years Hublot Big Bang.” The dial also features a sophisticated stamped “carbon-effect” pattern, evoking the sporty and high-tech spirit of the collection.
This collection pays tribute to the Big Bang’s legacy while demonstrating Hublot’s commitment to continuous innovation in materials and watchmaking.
